This painting was made by the shores of Lake Ontario on a painting expedition with a group of close friends. The Scarborough bluffs are an iconic part of the region where I live, it is a reminder of the geological formation of the great lakes. The painting was completed in the time we were there in the manner of the Impressionists, who went out in the landscape to try and capture the essence of the view before it would change and pass.
The painting is on wood board in quality oils and it is already framed.
